About Us
The Eddy Foundation for Skills Development
Eddy Foundation for Skills Development (EFSD) operates as a youth social center situated at Isabella Plaza in Kireka, Wakiso District. Registered as a non-profit organization under the community-based youth organization registration number WCBO/24/3396, EFSD is dedicated to non-political endeavors.
Our programs encompass high-quality hands-on skills training, online training, and outreach skills training initiatives. We also facilitate internship placements and employment opportunities for our students upon completion of their training. At EFSD, we prioritize timely graduation, ensuring that our students emerge as well-rounded, responsible citizens equipped for success in the wider world.

To deliver cutting-edge interventions that create opportunities for self-sustenance and livelihood improvement for the youth and young people. This is done through supporting the youth and young people to attain knowledge and skills to promote their ability to engage in vocational employment.
Our Vision
Eddy Foundation for Skills Development believes that “people are the most important resource” in any society. As such, its vision is “Enabling people to live life in dignity through self-sustenance and livelihood improvement,” with a special focus on the youth and young people by equipping them with vocational skills.
Our Goal
To improve the lives of the youth and young people by enabling them to acquire vocational skills and knowledge, making them employable on one hand, and empowering them to create employment for themselves on the other hand. This way, they can generate income to meet their needs in life.
